STOMP is a renowned East Village theater known for its exceptional rhythmic shows, ranging from "Little Shop of Horrors" to their namesake performance, "Stomp." Located at 126 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10003, United States, this theater has been permanently closed as per Google Maps. STOMP was famous for its hour-long shows with no words, and the music was made entirely with their props, including garbage cans and brooms, to name a few. The energetic and creative performances received rave reviews from the guests, who were amazed by the performers' exceptional talent. However, the seating could be cramped, running right up to the theater walls. STOMP was a highly entertaining theater experience for the guests, according to its review summary.

It was awesome. The show made me laugh and be happy. There even was a kind of story that went along which made me feel sorry for one of the musicians. I really enjoyed it.
Warning though, if you are light sensitive you may not want to sit near the front. There are some lights on the stage that during the show shine right in your face. I had to shut my eyes near the end because it just became too much for me. I could still enjoy the beats, just couldn't watch for a bit. The lights I am referring to ar in the blueish picture. There is one light showing on each side of the stage, but there are actually two more under each of those, so be careful.
It's still a lot of fun and worth seeing. Enjoy!
Very fun play to go to ! The performers were extremely talented.. fast moving & on tempo with each other. They interacted with the audience which made it interesting! Some of the sets were louder then others & some were funnier then others. Overall the play was incredible. Different then anything else I’ve seen before. Theater was clean and organized. We sat in the highest seats closest to the stage and they were great. Great night out in the city !
I have waited 20 some odd years to see this show and tonight it happened!!! Absolutely amazing!!! I loved the audience participation and the humour. I drove 12.5 straight hours from Ontario, Canada just for this show. It did not disappoint! Maybe bring some ear plugs. It does get very loud.
Great venue for an energetic, fun, and rythmic show! Uniquely decorated seeming random things that the performers use to make music out of, I can promise you that there are no bad seats in this theater. From the moment the show starts, you can see the performers putting their all into the entire 1hr and 45 minutes performance. Time flew by because I was having so much fun watching them make beats and music out of things I never thought were possible (like kitchen sinks). It's so good that we are definitely coming back again the next time we visit NYC!
What an absolutely incredible performance from start to finish. The show material just got better and better, the humour, professionalism, talent and energy the team brought to the show was outstanding...well bloody done guys!!
Saw the empire strips back there awesome venue and not a bad seat! No food and drink available. photos during the event.
Thoroughly enjoyed this performance. Energetic and funny. Some fun audience participation. Highly recommended Tip: we went on a Wednesday night which is obviously less busy than a weekend. We bought cheaper ticket but were able to move up closer to stage as seats were available.
Doors open 30 minutes before show. 90 minutes of non-stop High Energy with no dialogue. Simply Amazing! A few performers were signing autographs after the show. Plenty of near by places to grab a bite to eat.
It was fantastic!! I saw the show in 1999 and I just had to see it again - with my daughter - before the show closes next week! So much fun, and funny, too!
